VISITING THE WEBSITE
Your browser sends technical information needed to deliver the website, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and browser information. Our hosting and security providers process this information to run the site, investigate errors and protect it against misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure, reliable website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies or similar storage needed for security, login or a function you request may be used for that purpose. Administrator login cookies are separate from the optional media described below. Fonts and the band images used in the page design are served from this website.
MUSIC, VIDEOS & TOUR DATES
You can browse the website without loading the Spotify player or Bandsintown tour widget. Each has a separate load button. Choosing to load one allows that provider to receive technical data, including your IP address and browser information, and to use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. We rely on your consent for this optional connection (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
After loading a player or tour list, you can select Reset embedded media to reload the page with those embeds blocked again. Your choice is not saved for future visits. Resetting stops further use on the reloaded page; it does not erase information already received by a provider or remove cookies that provider has set. You can manage those cookies in your browser.
YouTube videos start only when you choose to play them. Video preview images may connect your browser to YouTube before playback. Playing a video connects to YouTube and may allow its cookies, device information and viewing activity to be processed. If you are signed into a provider, it may associate your activity with your account.
These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their policies explain their locations, recipients and international transfer arrangements.
INNER CIRCLE & CONTACT
Inner Circle links take you to our signup page on Laylo. Signing up is optional. The contact details and choices you provide there are used to send the Arctis updates you request. The legal basis for those messages is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe option in a message or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Laylo operates the signup service and describes its own processing in the Laylo privacy policy. Laylo is based in the United States and states that data may be stored and processed there.
If you email us, we use your address and the information in your message to respond and handle your enquiry. This is based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or on taking steps towards or performing a contract where your message concerns a booking or other agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Email service providers and the person handling your enquiry may receive that information. Separate booking contacts are responsible for the enquiries sent directly to them.
EXTERNAL WEBSITES
Our store, streaming, social media and booking links lead to other websites. Following a link allows the destination to process information under its own privacy policy. Purchases in the linked store are handled by the store operator; payment details are not entered on the Arctis website.
KEEPING YOUR INFORMATION
We keep information for the purpose for which it was collected: technical records for operation and security, correspondence for handling the enquiry, and mailing list information while your subscription remains active. Applicable legal retention duties or the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims may require some records to be kept longer. Where needed, a record of your unsubscribe request is retained to prevent further messages.
Our hosting, security, email and subscription service providers may process information to supply those services. Contact us if you need more detail about the recipients or retention periods relevant to your information.
YOUR RIGHTS
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict its processing, or receive a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation, and you may object to direct marketing at any time. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent.
